Not Miracles; the Miracle Worker

I forgot. How silly of me.

I don’t want a vehicle; I want more of You.

I don’t want a new job; I want more of You.

I don’t want a husband; I want more of You.

I don’t want seven kids; I want more of You.

I don’t want provision; I want Your presence.

I don’t want signs and wonders; I want to know You more.

I don’t want an increase of faith; I want an increase of You.

Though He slay me, yet I will hope in Him. My spirit remembers what it is to drink of His goodness, to taste and see that He is good. He alone satisfies. He alone is my portion. My God and my salvation. He hides me under the shelter of His wings.

Jesus, I love You.

Jesus, You’re beautiful.

Jesus, You’re all I want. You’re all I need.

All of You is more than enough for all of me, in every thirst and every need. You satisfy me with Your love, and all I have in You is more than enough.

Just to be with You, I long to be with You.

He doesn’t hide from me, He hides for me. He waits for me to find Him. Song of Solomon has never meant more to my heart.

I am my Beloved’s and my Beloved is mine.

What a radical love. It surpasses every other thought, dream, desire.

I don’t have time to maintain these regrets when I think about the way He loves us.

I thirst no more.

I am no longer hopeless.

I have found my miracle.
